Peaceful Fights for Equal Rights

We are all worthy, valuable, deserving, and important.

Books have always helped me learn, and now is a time to learn as much as we can about how to be better humans and support people in our community. Follow the link below to some great books for students. ( *Disclaimer: I am not the original creator of this Google slide deck, and haven't been able to find who the creator is.)

  1. Hi! I'm enjoying looking through your posts and making a long list of books I'd like to read. Thank you in particular for sharing the books in this post. I am in constant awe of the complex subjects tackled in children's literature, often presented in an informative and inspiring way. At the very least, it always gives us a way to start conversations with children (and adults!). The "Peaceful Rights for Equal Rights" video got me choked up at the thought of how people come together and (peacefully) fight so hard to protect others. I appreciate the work you do to share these learning opportunities!
